Dynamos FC edged title rivals Ngezi Platinum 2-1 at Rufaro Stadium on Saturday.
The result lifts Dembare to 24 points after 14 games, keeping them in the top six.
Highlanders claimed a 2-1 home win over Hunters at Barbourfields on Sunday, moving to 19 points and 10th on the
New boys Scottland FC continued their strong debut season, beating giants CAPS United 2-0.
The result keeps Scottland 4th with 25 points, while CAPS United remain joint-top on 28 points despite the loss.
Herentals produced the shock of the round, defeating FC Platinum 1-0 on Sunday. Platinum stay 9th on 20 points.
Elsewhere, MWOS and Hardrock played to a goalless draw on Saturday. Agama beat TelOne 1-0, Simba Bhora and Triangle United shared the spoils 1-1, and ZPC Kariba edged Chicken Inn 1-0.
